Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Share Disapprovals They Refuse to Compromise On

Despite their companions’ disapproval, players of Baldur’s Gate 3 have confessed to their recurring actions in the game.

As avid Baldur’s Gate 3 players, we have all experienced the urge to save scum when our beloved companion expresses disapproval of our actions. Whether it be accidentally doing something to upset them, causing us to reload an earlier save and redo our choices.

Instances like this are not uncommon, but fortunately, we have the ability to return and maintain a high level of approval. However, solely focusing on a single companion’s approval may cause you to miss out on many intriguing experiences.

Despite this, players have come together in a Reddit discussion to discuss which disapprovals they would still endure in their playthrough, regardless of the consequences. Some players have mentioned actions such as disrespectfully waving their hand at Vlaakith or embarrassing Lae’zel if she happens to be in their party.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players can’t help but disrespect Vlaakith in the game.

“According to one user, both Lae’zel and Vlaakith become extremely angry when someone waves at them, which is quite entertaining. They both seem to be thinking ‘this damn istik…’.”

At the same time, a user included, “I am currently sketching a mustache onto the painting at the crèche. Laezel does not approve, but everyone else found it to be quite funny.”

Another player confessed to having opened the barn door and discovering the hobgoblin and ogre engaging in a playful activity. They admitted that their actions often caused annoyance to the rest of their party.

Some players, on the other hand, may choose to let Astarion die in order to obtain the Blood of Lathander and hear the additional dialogue.

The adventurer admitted that Neil’s delivery of that line was fantastic, making it worth enduring Astarion’s disapproval. They also found it hilarious to send Astarion to the stage with Dribbles, not caring about his disapproval.

Despite facing disapproval from their companions, others would still choose to have Volo replace their eye due to the powerful impact it has.

Despite being a massive game, Baldur’s Gate 3 is definitely worth sacrificing companions’ approval in order to experience all the additional content that would otherwise be missed.
