Despite its September release, players of Baldur’s Gate 3 are already strategizing ways to exploit a specific part of the game in the upcoming patch.
Up until now, it has been announced that the upcoming patch 7 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be significant. This is due to the inclusion of official mod support for both PC and consoles, bug resolutions, additional legendary actions, malevolent conclusions, and many other updates.
Among the various updates to the game, one change in particular quickly grabbed the community’s attention – the addition to the Faith Leap trial in the Gauntlet of Shar.
For a while, players have been able to exploit the trial by clicking on the final platform, which activates the auto-path feature and allows their character to walk on the hidden path.
Shar in Baldur’s Gate 3 truly wants to put your patience to the test.
Despite the upcoming patch resolving this issue, players of Baldur’s Gate 3 have already gathered in a Reddit thread titled “Brightness to 100% and let’s gooo”to share tips and tricks on how to overcome the troublesome trial.
“So, it seems that knocking on the last door is the way to go,”one user observed, alluding to the possibility of bypassing the trials and still reaching the final door.
This technique has been in existence within the community for a considerable amount of time, and unless it gets fixed, it will probably remain effective.
One user recommended that utilizing the combination of “Misty step”and a warlock with darkvision would still be effective for easily defeating enemies.
At the same time, a different user commented: “Transform Halsin into a crow and simply flutter your precious [little] wings over there.”
One person added, “I’m laughing because I have a potion of flying.”Other comments in the thread included a detailed map of the pathing in the Faith Leap trial, which players can reference while navigating in the dark.
It will take some time before Patch 7 is released, but it will be intriguing to observe the impact of the new features on the game.
