Baldur’s Gate 3 players want to be able to customize their side

Baldur’s Gate 3 players have requested an addition to the game’s camp after a fan pointed out a glaring omission regarding the main character.

During the adventure offered by Baldur’s Gate 3, players and party members can go to the camp to relax. There, each member of the group has their own space. There is a personal tent designed to match their tastes and personality.

Recently, a Baldur’s Gate 3 player humorously theorized that companions all get extravagant camps… except Tav.

Reddit user u/Ravenwing14 started the discussion with humor. He titled his post: “So that’s why Tav always asks for a storage bag.”

He expanded on his remark: “Because he is the only one without a tent. The only logical explanation is that everyone has a storage bag that they use to carry all their stuff. But poor Tav is the only one who has to carry everything on a regular basis.”

For those who don’t know, the player character sometimes mentions that they wish they had a Capacity Bag when picking up random items. As its name suggests, a Bag of Capacity is an iconic magical item found in D&D.

Many fans have expressed a desire to have their own camping space. “Okay, but now I want a customizable camp. Just a little plot of land in all the camps for us to set up a crappy tent or something. Arrange some trinkets. “, said a fan.

Another noted that even when playing an Origin character like Shadowheart or Lae’ zel, you lose your own tent. “I would like the companions as Origin characters to keep their tent. Shadowheart should not be homeless.”

Although Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t have a dedicated player housing feature, some fans have managed to pull off some impressive decorating feats. Unfortunately, decorating the camp and leaving it will remove all placed items.

As Larian Studios continues to update Baldur’s Gate 3, perhaps one day players will finally be able to customize their own space of life at the camp.
