Baldur’s Gate 3 players wonder about Orin and his purpose in the game

Baldur’s Gate 3 players are trying to figure out what Orin’s plan is, and some parts just don’t seem to make sense.

It must be difficult being Orin throughout Baldur’s Gate 3. You’re paired with an undead general obsessed with his daughter and a strange noble playing with toy soldiers. Plus, both refuse to let you kill whoever you want. It seems like they hate seeing a girl boss succeed.

That said, none of this explains why Orin goes to such lengths to help players. Especially when it comes to their love life. In Act 3, it is indeed possible that the circus druid will be replaced by Orin.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players don’t understand Orin’s plan

Player u/merpderpherpburp couldn’t understand why Orin would help a Tav’s love life. So he asked the question to the Baldur’s Gate 3 community on Reddit. He asked, “Why is Orin spending all this time and magic to help us?”»

In the post, he explained the origin of his question. He stated: “If you don’t meet 2 Orin doppelgangers before going to the circus, the Druid of Love will be replaced by Orin. And it doesn’t make sense that Orin would do it. That’s a lot of time and energy to end up saying “muhahaha surprise! It’s me! “It’s not even like she’s directly threatening or trying to attack the companion.»

In the comments, several players expressed their theories. Some believe that just as the community is head over heels in love with Baldur’s Gate 3, Orin simply enjoys seeing the group members fall in love with each other.

One player explained this with humor: “Orin’s two passions: murder and seeing Tav with his companions. And also squeal with joy when they have cute dialogues.”

If Orin lived in our universe, we can be sure that she would be a huge fan of Baldur’s Gate 3 and its iconic characters.
