During a show, GOT7 BamBam reminisced about the time when someone revealed his unrequited love for TWICE Nayeon, which became known to the entire JYP company.
On June 14, the YouTube web show, “Bam’s House,”aired which included a reunion between GOT7’s BamBam and his “unrequited love,”TWICE’s Nayeon.
During an episode with Jihyo, the male idol publicly confessed his crush on her without asking for her permission. However, Nayeon later revealed that she had already been aware of his feelings for a long time.
I remember Nayeon saying:
“But you all need to know this. If you like someone at school or somewhere, you usually like them secretly, right? But that wasn’t the feeling with me. That Bam liked me was kind of a funny thing for everyone.
Everyone knew about it. When I went to the vocal room, everyone nudged you. Those actions were kind of like our entertainment back then.”
Despite the strict rules against dating and having crushes at the time, the trainees brushed it off as a “cute scenario”because of BamBam’s young age and innocent appearance.

Nayeon’s revelation that even the JYP staff and employees were aware of the male idol’s feelings for her surprised him even further.
BamBam, feeling perplexed, was unsure about how the story had managed to spread throughout the entire JYP company. He proceeded to list the potential “suspects”that he had in mind.
“Since I was so young, people probably just said, ‘Aww, how cute.’ But I’m sure I told someone very seriously, ‘I think… I like Nayeon.’ Like this. I’m sure I said this to the foreigners at the dorms.”
Afterwards, he pondered:
“It had to be Jackson or Mark. I’m sure of it! Or it could be Dong Geun. Peniel! I think it was Peniel (BTOB). He must have thought this younger brother was adorable and just told everyone. I didn’t know though. So everyone was amused by it.”
Despite initially thinking that BamBam was simply joking around, Nayeon was taken aback when the male idol sincerely confessed:
“But… I actually liked Nayeon quite a bit at the time! Why did I start liking you? Uh, you always came in your uniform after school and you had super full bangs with completely black hair. We became close in a short period somehow. And I remember her adoring me, too.
You know what I mean? As a baby, when someone adores you and she’s pretty at that. you become attracted.”
After that, BamBam proceeded to thank Nayeon for not avoiding him in the past, to which the female celebrity replied:
“When I felt you were serious, it was adorable. I thought I should treat you even better. Because I knew it wasn’t serious affection.”
