Bang Minah of Girl’s Day Joins SM Entertainment’s Subsidiary

Bang Minah has officially become a part of the SM Entertainment family after signing an exclusive deal with one of its well-known subsidiary labels.

On October 8th, SM Culture & Contents (SM C&C), a division of SM Studios under the umbrella of SM Entertainment, announced the addition of Bang Minah to their roster!

In their official statement, the agency expressed:

“We are thrilled to work with such a talented actress as Bang Minah. We are committed to supporting her endeavors to expand her acting repertoire, further enhancing the impressive filmography she has already crafted.”

Under the banner of SM C&C, Bang Minah will continue her illustrious acting career, recognized for her roles in popular series such as “Beautiful Gong Shim,””My Absolute Boyfriend,”and “Delivery Man.”

Moreover, she aims to broaden her career as a musical actress with the label, having made her debut in the musical “The Days”in 2020. In November, she is set to take on a new role in the production “Tick, Tick Boom.”

Initially gaining fame as the lead vocalist of Girl’s Day, formed by DreamT Entertainment in 2010, Bang Minah and the group made significant waves in the K-pop industry with memorable tracks like “Someday”and “Female President.”

After the group went on hiatus, she departed from the label in 2019 and subsequently joined Yooborn Company before finalizing her contract with SM C&C, which is home to numerous notable stars and entertainers such as Kang Ho Dong, Jeon Hyun Moo, Seo Jang Hoon, Led Jin Ho, and others.
