On September 16th, during the Chuseok special broadcast of KBS’s “Tandara JYP,” Bang Si-hyuk shared a heartfelt congratulatory message.
Bang Si-hyuk, who began his career at JYP Entertainment, later founded Big Hit Entertainment, now known as HYBE, following his departure from the company. He has achieved remarkable success in the entertainment industry as a visionary business leader.
In his video message, Bang Si-hyuk pleasantly surprised Park Jin-young by saying, “You aspired to impress everyone with your 30th anniversary performance and hoped that I could join you on stage, but unfortunately, that seems quite difficult. I wish for you to shine brightly with all the stages you dream of and to leave with a joyful heart.”
Bang Si-hyuk went on to express, “Before stepping into such a position, no junior could truly comprehend. I thought I was working alongside you, but it dawned on me that I was actually supporting your endeavors. I now realize just how exceptional you are and the immense contributions you’ve made for me that few others could fathom. I question whether I could make similar decisions if I were in your shoes.”
He further emphasized, “Our relationship defies simple definitions. We are simply like brothers. There’s no shame in admitting that.”
Bang Si-hyuk also encouraged, “You have many more hits to create and numerous paths ahead. When it comes to resilience, you are the one. I have no concerns. I look forward to seeing you again in 10 years at another event like this.”
In response, Park Jin-young remarked, “I was taken aback. Let’s meet soon. Bang Si-hyuk, who typically doesn’t engage in this kind of sentimentality, really stepped up. Thank you.”
