Bang Yedam and Lee Seo-han Both Apologize for Alleged Illegal Filming Incident

Lee Seo-han, a rookie actor, caused a stir on May 2 when he shared a video featuring a sticker that read “Breaking News”. This sparked a heated debate surrounding the issue of “illegal filming”.

The video, which displayed indistinct images of two individuals, appeared to have been illicitly recorded due to the unsteady camera movements and poor sound quality, causing a commotion.

Amidst mounting criticism, Lee Seo-han attempted to defend himself on two separate occasions. At first, he claimed that the controversial remarks were simply a joke among close male friends, and urged the public not to jump to conclusions. However, his explanations failed to quell the growing suspicions surrounding the incident.

On the morning of May 3, the actor clarified that he and some close friends, including Bang Yedam, had been drinking in his studio. Late at night, while still intoxicated, they went to his house and continued drinking with the rest of the group. The actor explained that during this time, they uploaded a staged video to a private account, which is a common practice nowadays. He emphasized that this was not an illegal filming situation.

In light of the video filmed in his studio causing controversy, Bang Yedam also humbly lowered his head and expressed regret. He offered his sincere apology, stating, “I deeply apologize for causing any worry or concern.”

Lee Seo-han sincerely apologized, acknowledging, “As an aspiring actor, I deeply regret causing controversy with my immature actions,”and “I offer my sincere apologies to those who were uncomfortable by the video and to my devoted fans; I will approach my future actions with greater caution.”
