Banks Discloses Shocking 8-Figure Earnings from FaZe Clan’s Viral Twitch Subathon

FaZe Clan concluded their viral subathon on September 30, 2024. After a month of nonstop streaming on Twitch, CEO Ricky Banks disclosed the astonishing eight-figure sum they had collectively earned.

As one of the most influential organizations in the esports and entertainment industry, FaZe Clan notably underwent significant changes in April 2024 following public criticism from their own members.

Following a restructuring, co-founder Ricky Banks replaced nearly all existing staff and content creators, bringing in fresh talent such as emerging stars Jason the Ween and FaZe Lacy to form a tighter group of influencers.

In September 2024, FaZe Clan embarked on a month-long subathon, streaming continuously to maximize subscriber counts.

Their marathon broadcast featured numerous viral moments, including hiring a Kanye West impersonator to fool McDonald’s employees into giving them free food, being awakened by Los Angeles earthquakes, and even experiencing a swatting event over false reports of a double murder.

The subathon concluded on a poignant note, with Banks expressing gratitude to his team for reigniting FaZe Clan’s success.

Shortly after, Banks appeared on an episode of the Full Send Podcast, hosted by Kyle Forgeard, who inquired about the earnings from their 30-day streaming marathon.

Although Banks refrained from disclosing individual streamer earnings, he shared that the collective revenue amounted to approximately $12 million, a figure Forgeard deemed “absurd.”

Additionally, he mentioned that the group had achieved a staggering 35 million total hours watched, marking an incredible subathon and a vibrant chapter in FaZe’s expansive venture.

FaZe Clan wasn’t the only one to enjoy a fruitful Subtember; VTuber Ironmouse reached the milestone of being the most-subscribed Twitch streamer ever during her subathon, receiving accolades from both Twitch and her rival for the top position, Kai Cenat.
