Jake Paul, the YouTube star turned professional boxer, finds himself in the crosshairs of a controversial figure in the sport. A recently banned boxer has publicly declared his intent to end Paul’s boxing career upon his return to the ring.
Since a notable victory over the legendary ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, Jake Paul has attracted the attention of various boxers eager for a match. Among them, Hall of Famer Carl Froch has humorously suggested fighting with one arm tied behind his back, while heavyweight champion ‘Dynamite’ Daniel Dubois is interested in a more conventional bout.
Paul has shown interest in several proposed matches, indicating that discussions with Dubois may be on the horizon, fueled by his ambition to secure a world championship title.
Ryan Garcia’s Intention to Conclude Jake Paul’s Boxing Journey
Adding to the drama, Ryan Garcia has issued a stark warning to Jake Paul. Currently serving a one-year ban from boxing due to a failed drug test, Garcia is determined to “end”Paul’s career as part of his anticipated comeback.
During an interview with Ariel Helwani on November 26, Garcia remarked, “It could be against Jake Paul, we don’t know. He was trying to get all up in Uncle Mike’s business, and I said we’d fight one day. I practically launched his boxing career, and now I’m here to terminate it.”

Garcia further expressed confidence, stating, “If Jake fights the way he did against Mike, I genuinely believe I would knock him out in four or five rounds.”He also conveyed a strong desire to face Paul in the ring, contingent on the approval of his promoters at Golden Boy Promotions.
Despite his ban lasting until April, Garcia is set to return in an exhibition match scheduled for late December; however, he has faced challenges in obtaining the necessary clearance from his promotional team.
Garcia acknowledged a history of exchanges between himself and Paul regarding a potential fight. As the situation unfolds, the boxing community eagerly awaits whether these two can finally clash in the squared circle.
