After the end of their contract with the agency, BBGIRLS has officially departed from Warner Music Korea.
BBGIRLS Leaves Warner Music Korea After Contract Expires
Warner Music Korea announced the departure of BBGIRLS from the company on April 22 through an official statement released on Twitter.
Based on the statement, the members came to a mutual decision to conclude their stay with the company after engaging in a thorough conversation. The decision was reached with consideration for the mutual respect shared between both parties.
The agency extended its heartfelt appreciation to Minyoung, Youjoung, Eunji, and Yuna for their dedication and contributions as artists of Warner Music Korea. It further expressed its unwavering support for the girls as they embark on new journeys.
In addition, Warner Music Korea expressed gratitude to the girl group’s fans for their unwavering support and encouraged them to continue showing their love for BBGIRLS’ future endeavors.

“Hello. This is Warner Music Korea.
We would like to make an official announcement regarding the contract with our artist, BBGIRLS.
After long and sufficient discussions about their future activities, both Warner Music Korea and the artist BBGIRLS have mutually agreed to respect each other’s opinions and end the exclusive contract upon its expiration after one year.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to BBGIRLS members Minyoung, Youjoung, Eunji, and Yuna, for their efforts and dedication for being with us as Warner Music artists. Warner Music Korea will sincerely support and wish the best for BBIGRLS’s future steps.

On February 16, 2023, Korean media confirmed that Brave Girls, a popular K-pop girl group, had officially disbanded and departed from their former company Brave Entertainment. The heartbreaking news was announced alongside the group’s final digital single “Goodbye,”causing fans to feel immense sadness.
On April 27, 2023, fans were ecstatic when all four members of Brave Girls signed exclusive contracts with Warner Music Korea. This partnership also resulted in their re-debut under a new name, BBGIRLS.
The polished group debuted with their single album “One More Time”on August 3, 2023. This release not only marked their first comeback since leaving Brave Entertainment, but also their first content as BBGIRLS after their re-debut.
