Beast Games Contestant Uncovers Fate of Players Who Stole from $5 Million Prize Pool

In a surprising turn of events during the filming of Beast Games, several contestants were disqualified for allegedly stealing money from the prize pool. This situation prompted MrBeast to enlist alternate players to fill the gaps left by those removed from the competition.

One of the players, who identified himself as contestant #600, Adam Dunlap, may not have reached the finale, but he shed light on the behind-the-scenes incidents during filming. In a recent Instagram video, he recounted the issues that arose regarding disqualifications linked to theft within the game.

“Beast Games didn’t start in Toronto with 1, 000 players; it began in Las Vegas with 2, 000 of us, ” Dunlap revealed.“From that number, only 1, 000 players qualified for the Amazon Prime show.”

Dunlap further elaborated, stating, “Unfortunately, some contestants dropped out as they were unable to attend filming in Toronto, while several others faced disqualification for stealing from the impressive $5 million prize pool.”

Alternates Step In Following Player Disqualifications

Dunlap shared additional insights about the game’s progression, mentioning that eliminated players from the initial Vegas rounds were brought back as alternates to fill the void left by those who were disqualified for theft.

“The MrBeast team responded by selecting alternates from the pool of players who had previously been eliminated in Vegas, ” he explained.

Interestingly, Beast Games holds the remarkable record for the largest grand prize in game show history. Dunlap noted that some of the alternates who returned ended up disqualifying themselves within the opening challenges after accepting bribes from MrBeast, thereby “potentially altering the outcomes” of those games. He also mentioned at least one disqualified contestant who managed to reach the top 50 before their removal.

Despite the controversies, MrBeast has confirmed his plans for future seasons.“I absolutely love what we did with Beast Games and am committed to continuing, ” he stated.“I enjoyed collaborating with Prime Video and can assure that we’ll definitely be making a second season—100%.There’s no way we’re not doing it.”
