Following his departure from the highly popular Beast Games, contestant #829, Andrew Bond, shared a thrilling account of the experiences faced by players after elimination from the competition.
In the exhilarating opening episode of MrBeast’s much-anticipated reality show, a massive gathering of 1,000 contestants convened in a colossal tower to tackle various challenging tasks.
Facing Fears: Andrew Bond’s Experience with the Trapdoors
On his podcast, ‘Out of the Box’, Bond opened up about the intense fear he experienced due to the tower’s trapdoors. “All of the towers have trapdoors in them. So, when you get eliminated, you fall down a dark chute,” he explained. The podcast segment featuring this confession starts at 13:53.
Bond admitted that his fear of heights intensified the dread; he remarked, “There’s a foam pit down there. I was absolutely terrified. When you walk on the towers, the trapdoors have a little bit of give, and when you lean, they open and shut slightly.” This precarious situation spurred a fear of unintentional elimination by falling through one of the trapdoors.
“I was so scared that it was going to do a false drop,” Bond reflected, expressing his concern not only about leaving the competition too early but also about the prospect of plummeting down the dark chute.
Listeners of Bond’s podcast applauded his candid recounting of the behind-the-scenes action, with many labeling him a “legend” for successfully making it into the top 100 of Beast Games. This acknowledgment highlighted the camaraderie and support within the contestant community.
For devoted fans, new episodes of Beast Games premiere weekly on Thursdays on Prime Video, with excitement building as the grand finale approaches on February 13, when the winner will claim the staggering $5 million prize.
