Beastars Final Season Release Date Announced for December 2024 Alongside New Trailer

On November 6, 2024, Netflix Anime introduced an exciting new trailer for the final season of Beastars, officially confirming its release date along with introducing new cast members. Fans were also treated to a sneak peek of the series’ ending theme song.

Following the successful launches of the first two seasons in March 2020 and July 2021, studio Orange is set to conclude the acclaimed series. The upcoming final season will be split into two parts, or “cours,”with Part 1 scheduled to debut on December 5, 2024. Details about the release window for Part 2 remain forthcoming.

New Insights from the Beastars Final Season Trailer

The newly released trailer offers an abundance of information, showcasing key plot elements and character arcs. Notably, we glimpse new characters including Yahya and Gosha. The narrative suggests a complex backstory where Yahya and Gosha were once partners, a twosome brought to separate paths by a betrayal, ultimately leading Yahya to retire from being a Beastar.

Meanwhile, the main character Legoshi finds himself settling into Beast Apartments, where he begins to forge connections with neighbors Sagwan and Seven. The trailer hints that his aspirations to deliver ramen intertwine with his desire to build a life with Haru the Rabbit, although Yahya appears to harbor reservations about this relationship. This segment of the trailer also introduces another new figure, Melon.

A captivating revelation from the trailer suggests that Legoshi may not be a pure wolf, hinting at a mixed heritage that could add another layer to his character. The focus then shifts to the complexities of interspecies relationships, with scenes depicting various characters, including Legoshi and Louis, grappling with the long-standing divide between carnivores and herbivores at Cherryton Academy. The trailer concludes with a tease of a growing bond between Legoshi and Haru, leaving viewers eager for more.

Additionally, the trailer unveiled the voice cast for the new characters, beginning with Yahya, voiced by Shinichirō Miki, well-known for his roles such as Kisuke Urahara in Bleach and Atsuya Kusakabe in Jujutsu Kaisen. Gosha will be voiced by Shigeru Chiba, famed for portraying Sebas Tian in Overlord and Buggy in One Piece.

Further supporting characters Melon, Sagwan, and Seven will be voiced by Kōji Okino, Tesshō Genda, and Fumiko Orikasa, respectively. Each of these actors lends their voice to well-loved characters from other series, enhancing the anticipation for their roles in Beastars.
