SHINee’s Taemin’s solo comeback has caused quite a controversy.

Taemin is confirmed to make a solo return to the music scene on October 30. Following the release of his third mini album “Advice”in May 2021, he will release a new album 2 years and 5 months later. According to his agency, Taemin’s new album contains 6 songs including the title song “Guilty”of the same name. 

When the good news was announced, some netizens discovered the “problem”and believed that the overall concept photos and photo atmosphere of Taemin’s new album were similar to BTS V’s “Layover”album released earlier. In particular, they are all carton concepts, while Taemin’s design is a shoe box, and V’s is a delivery carton shape. This has triggered a war of doubts among fans, saying that Taemin copied V’s style.

In this regard, neither Taemin nor V gave any positive response. Netizens commented: “Like “Hunmin Jeongeum”, can it only be used by one person?”, “Some people say that shoe boxes and express boxes are the same.
