BELIFT LAB Requests NewJeans Hanni to Apologize for Misleading Claims About ILLIT Management

BELIFT LAB has recently issued an official response to the allegations involving ILLIT’s management, following Hanni from NewJeans’ assertion that she felt overlooked. In their statement, BELIFT clarified that the management never instructed Hanni to “Ignore them” and highlighted that during their meeting on May 27, ILLIT had respectfully greeted her.

May 27: ILLIT and members of NewJeans convened a meeting; video evidence shows ILLIT bowing deeply to Hanni.
June 13: NewJeans brought forth their concerns, claiming that ILLIT’s management had instructed Hanni to “Ignore them.” BELIFT could not specify when this occurred but affirmed through surveillance footage that ILLIT did greet Hanni.
June 19: Management from BELIFT reiterated that such statements were never made.
August 14: On reevaluation of the CCTV with ADOR, the security firm revealed they could not retain video footage beyond a 30-day period.

The company is seeking an apology from Hanni and ADOR, but no reply has been received thus far. They underlined that these allegations not only tarnish the company’s name but also harm the morale of their employees.
