Ben Willoughby subtly revealed that he is currently dating a former crew member who had previously appeared on a season of Below Deck.
Bosun Ben Willoughby and deckhand Sunny Marquis shared a romantic relationship while on Below Deck Season 11 and made plans to continue their relationship beyond the show.
Despite experiencing difficulties in their relationship on the St. David, the two eventually parted ways but continued to maintain a strong friendship and provide support for each other.
During an Instagram Q&A with Below Deck fans, Ben disclosed his relationship status when a fan inquired about his single status.
“Regrettably, he replied, attaching a selfie with his enigmatic partner and obscuring her face with an emoji.”
When another fan inquired, “Are you seeing someone who has previously appeared on Below Deck?”Ben affirmed and shared another dimly-lit picture of the newly-minted couple admiring the sunset together.

It is challenging to discern the identity of Ben’s new girlfriend in the photo. However, judging from the side profile and hair color, it seems to be Stew Caroline Bedol from Below Deck Season 6.
Caroline’s Instagram story on May 20 also includes the beach background with rocky sand that was seen on Ben’s profile.
Even though they are not currently connected on social media, if they both post stories from the exact same location on the same day, it would be a clear indication that they were together.
According to a post on Instagram from May 20, Sunny confirmed that they went on a date in Greece, but did not disclose who their date was with.
A fan of Below Deck on Reddit noticed that the matching hat and watch in her photos led them to believe that she was still in a relationship with Ben.
Ben and Sunny were both present in Greece, further indicating that they had spent time together during their time there.
Apart from Sunny, Ben has also been involved in a boatmance with stew Camille Lamb during Season 10 and has a track record of dating women from the franchise.
Sunny and Caroline have yet to publicly address Ben’s revelations. Could dating Ben be the factor that convinces Caroline to make a comeback on the show? Only time will tell.
