Below Deck primary charter guest gives rare footage into the BTS of filming show

A lead guest on Season 11 of Below Deck captured exclusive behind-the-scenes footage showcasing his group’s journey aboard the St. David.

While filming Below Deck, there are numerous behind-the-scenes secrets that only the crew members and charter guests are privy to, revealing what truly happens off-camera.

Primary charter guest Alex Taylor, who will be featured in the April 29 episode, posted a video on Instagram showcasing his experience on Below Deck.

Upon reaching the St. David on a small tender boat, Alex’s group noticed that the camera crew were crowded among the guests, a sight rarely seen on the show.

The boat was decorated to resemble the North Pole for the Christmas-themed party, and upon entering, the guests were welcomed by crew members wearing reindeer headbands and serving welcome drinks. Even Stew Paris Field got into the spirit, dressing up as an elf.

Alex provided a sneak peek of the dishes served on the ship, which featured delectable hors d’oeuvres from the Feast of the Seven Fishes and a cannoli for a sweet ending, made with chocolate from a beloved land excursion.

Barbie Pascual meticulously designed a Christmas tablescape for dinner, complementing it with extra decorations throughout the boat’s interior.

Alex commended the crew for their meticulousness in the post and alluded to the possibility of sharing additional videos and photos from his trip. The main and his companions appeared to thoroughly enjoy their time on the boat and were content with their overall experience.

The Bravo show Below Deck is scheduled to air at 9:00 p.m. ET on Mondays.
