Alhaitham’s Abilities in Genshin Impact
Normal Attack: Abductive Reasoning
- Normal Attack: Executes a maximum of 5 quick strikes.
- Charged Attack: Uses a specific amount of Stamina to release 2 quick sword strikes.
- The Plunging Attack involves diving from a mid-air position to strike the ground below, causing damage to any opponents in its path and dealing Area of Effect (AoE) damage upon impact.
Elemental Skill: Universality: An Elaboration on Form
When activated, this skill rushes forward and inflicts Dendro damage on nearby enemies. Once the rush is complete, a Chisel-Light Mirror will form. Holding down this skill will result in a different behavior.
Activate: Switches to Aiming Mode in order to modify the trajectory of Alhaitham’s charge attack.
Chisel-Light Mirror: Upon activation of this skill, Alhaitham will create 1 Chisel-Light Mirror. In the absence of any existing Mirrors, he will generate an extra Mirror. These Chisel-Light Mirrors will possess the following characteristics:
- When he possesses Chisel-Light Mirrors, Alhaitham’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to Dendro damage that cannot be overriden
- When opponents are hit by any of the aforementioned attacks, the Chisel-Light Mirrors will release a Projection Attack that inflicts AoE Dendro DMG, the strength of which is determined by the number of Mirrors currently present on the field.
- A maximum of 3 Chisel-Light Mirrors are allowed to exist simultaneously.
As time passes, the Chisel-Light Mirrors will gradually disappear one by one, with all of them vanishing when Alhaitham exits the field.
Elemental Burst: Fetters of Phenomena
The ability forms a specific binding field and inflicts AoE Dendro damage on multiple targets. If there are Chisel-Light Mirrors present, they will be used up and result in an increase in the number of damage instances caused.
After 2 seconds of activating this ability, Alhaitham will generate a number of new Mirrors equal to 3, 2, 1, or 0, depending on whether 0, 1, 2, or 3 Mirrors were consumed beforehand.
Alhaitham Constellations in Genshin Impact
If you happen to obtain multiple copies of Alhaitham, you will gain the following potent buffs from his Constellations:
- Level One – Intuition: Upon successfully landing a Projection Attack on an opponent, the CD of Universality: An Elaboration on Form is reduced by 1 second. This effect can only be activated once every 1 second.
- Alhaitham’s Elemental Mastery will be boosted by 50 for 8 seconds, with a maximum of 4 stacks, whenever he creates a Chisel-Light Mirror. Each stack’s duration is counted separately and this effect can still be activated even after reaching the maximum number of Chisel-Light Mirrors. This applies during Level Two of the debate.
- The third level of negation increases the level of universality in regards to form by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level Four – Elucidation: When Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena is unleashed, the following effects will become active based on the number of Chisel-Light Mirrors consumed and created this time around:
- Each Mirror consumed will increase the Elemental Mastery of all other nearby party members by 30 for 15s.
- Each Mirror generated will grant Alhaitham a 10% Dendro DMG Bonus for 15s.
- The pre-existing duration of the aforementioned effects will be cleared if you use Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena again while they are in effect.
- Level Five – Sagacity: Increases the level of Fetters of Phenomena in a particular field by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.
- Level Six – Structuration: Alhaitham gains the following effects:
- 2 seconds after Particular Field: Fetters of Phenomena is unleashed, he will generate 3 Chisel-Light Mirrors regardless of the number of mirrors consumed.
- If Alhaitham generates Chisel-Light Mirrors when their numbers have already maxed out, his CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG will increase by 10% and 70% respectively for 5s.
- If this effect is triggered again during its initial duration, the duration remaining will be increased by 5s.
