V Rising: Best Locations to Build Your Base
Middle of Dunley Farmlands
Located in the heart of Dunley Farmlands, there are a handful of prime spots that offer unparalleled comfort. These strategic locations are conveniently situated near various settlements and points of interest, making them ideal for gathering materials and conducting research during the initial and middle stages of the game. However, the biggest advantage of these spots is their close proximity to the highly sought-after Haunted Iron Mine, known for its plentiful supply of Iron Ore. Additionally, this area is adjacent to every region in the game, making it a highly desirable location for building a fortress. With its unbeatable convenience, you simply can’t go wrong with settling in the midst of all the action.
East of Farbane Woods
This specific location is highly favored by us. It is situated in close proximity to numerous bosses and settlements within Farbane Woods and lies at the foot of Dunley Farmlands. While it may not be as advantageous as some central locations in the middle stages of the game, it is ideal for the early stages. The surroundings are abundant with lush vegetation and valuable resources, and enemies frequently patrol the roads, making it a prime spot for gathering materials and engaging in battles. Moreover, once cleared, the location offers a stunning view of a chasm. Although this area is divided into two locations, both are equally suitable.
West and East of The Cursed Forest
The fortified areas on both sides of the Cursed Forest are suitable for constructing a large and secure Castle. While it may involve some distance to reach resources or bosses, the strategic placement makes it an ideal location for engaging in PvP battles. After all, it is highly unlikely that anyone would make the effort to traverse the entire map just to attack a heavily fortified fortress within one of Vardoran’s most perilous regions, right?
North and South of The Silverlight Hills
The Silverlight Hills are strategically advantageous from both its north and south locations. The northern area provides ample land while being far from danger, yet still within close proximity to the Silverlight Hills, Dunley Farmlands, and Gloomrot region. Similarly, there are several southern locations bordering Dunley Farmlands and Farbane Woods, which are ideal for early to mid-game stages. Additionally, both sides of the Silverlight Hills grant access to the Sacred Silver Mine and serve as excellent defensive positions for PvP gameplay.
Hallowed Mountains
Do you despise people? Do you dislike being attacked? Would you rather not interact with other vampires? The Hallowed Mountains provides numerous fortifiable locations where you can avoid any potential PvP conflicts. It is conveniently situated near Farbane Woods, Dunley Farmlands, and the recently added region, the Ruins of Mortium. These areas are ideal for the later stages of the game, where you will likely spend your time strengthening yourself to defeat Dracula or other players.
West of Farbane Woods
With its close proximity to key locations for levels 10 to 30, this spot is ideal for early-game stages. The western part of Farbane Woods provides ample land for building, and it’s conveniently situated near Silverlight Hills and Dunley Farmlands, saving you from long walks. Plus, it’s directly above the Bandit Copper Mine, giving you the advantage of gathering materials and minerals ahead of others. For any player, this is the perfect starting point.
Middle of Gloomrot
Positioning your base in the middle of Gloomrot, a late-game area in V Rising, will grant you access to valuable resources and research studies. Additionally, it puts you in close proximity to other important regions such as Dunley Farmlands, Silverlight Hills, and the Cursed Forest. This prime location is ideal for players looking to advance towards late-game destinations like the Pools of Rebirth and Transcendum Mine.
No matter if you engage in PvE or PvP, these locations will definitely meet your expectations. Selecting the perfect spot for your Castle can greatly benefit you by saving time and reducing stress, while also putting you ahead of others.
