Best Black Ops 6 Beta XM4 Loadout
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
- Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
- Note: If you don’t have this unlocked yet, take a Light Stock instead. Rapid Fire takes a while to unlock, but it’s well worth it for the lower TTK.
- Optic: Otero Micro Dot
- Note: If you don’t mind going with Iron Sights, the Compensator Muzzle Attachment is a solid choice. However, the XM4’s recoil is so low that a Compensator isn’t a must-have.
The crucial attachment that can make or break your success is the Long Barrel. If you find yourself consistently losing fights at medium range, it is likely due to the absence of a Long Barrel. Equipping this attachment will reduce the number of shots needed to eliminate an enemy at approximately 15 meters, highlighting its importance.
The CHF Barrel is also a viable choice if you have faith in your precision and ability to hit headshots, although it may prove to be more challenging to handle compared to the Long Barrel.
The Quickdraw Grip proves beneficial for swiftly transitioning from sprinting to aiming down sights, making it ideal for those who prefer running and gunning. The Extended Mag I is highly recommended for the fast-firing XM4, but the Extended Mag II is also a viable option for those who don’t mind sacrificing some speed.
Optimal Perks, Gear, and Combat Specialty for an XM4 Loadout
The Enforcer Combat Specialty is hands down the most superior option, making it essential to equip on all classes. Its unmatched health regeneration and movement speed surpasses all other perks available. However, utilizing the Perk Greed perk opens up additional possibilities for players to choose from and add to their loadout.
Do anything you can to get that Enforcer Combat Specialty. You’ll need 3 Enforcer perks to get there.

- Perk 2: Dexterity
- Perk 3: Double Time
- Perk 4: Gung-Ho
- Note: You’ll have to run the Perk Greed Wildcard in order to get four perks like this. If you haven’t unlocked a Wildcard slot yet, take Assassin in Perk Slot 1.
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Concussion
- Field Upgrade: Assault Pack/Trophy System
If you find yourself in a situation where you are holding high ground and taking out enemies from a distance, it would be wise to have a Flak Jacket equipped. In Black Ops 6, grenades are particularly powerful, so if you choose not to use Ghost, consider using this perk for added protection.
The Dexterity perk will minimize your weapon’s movement while performing actions such as jumping, sliding, and diving, ensuring you stay on target. Double Time will extend the duration of your Tactical Sprint, and with Gung-Ho, you can reload while using the Tactical Sprint.
Assassin is the optimal Perk 1 selection if you have not yet unlocked Perk Greed.
