Best “Crazy” Warzone LMG to Replace Nerfed DTIR 30-06 in Season 6

Warzone features an “insane” LMG that serves as an excellent substitute for the recently nerfed DTIR 30-06, and it has just received a buff of its own.

The launch of Season 6 marked the final significant update to the meta in both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. This update notably enhanced several weapons from Modern Warfare 2, while also providing some much-deserved attention to a few options from MW3.

Since this major update, the developers have implemented several smaller hotfixes. One such fix occurred on September 24, addressing issues with the “broken” Bracefire-HC Grip in a timely manner.

This update also introduced substantial nerfs to the DTIR 30-06. The LMG has already experienced reductions to its damage profiles, and now it suffers from increased recoil on its base variant as well as various barrels.

While the DTIR remains a viable meta option, players are actively searching for alternatives. Warzone expert Metaphor has identified the ideal replacement: the Pulemyot 762.

“This weapon is absolutely phenomenal right now,” he stated in his September 26 video. “It’s among the top weapons in the entire game, yet very few players are utilizing it.”

The YouTuber highlighted that the recoil “barely moves” and is “extremely easy to manage” without the need for complex techniques.

  • Muzzle: Quartermaster Suppressor
  • Barrel: ST Pyro Heavy Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Pivot Vertical
  • Optic: JAK Glassless
  • Stock: Ivanov Wood Stock

“This weapon is undeniably overpowered,” Metaphor added. “It eliminates targets at lightning speed, and we haven’t even equipped the conversion kit.”

As Metaphor points out, the LMG is currently not popular among players. According to WZRanked data, it ranks as the 28th most-used weapon in the battle royale, making it quite off-meta.

So, if you’re looking for an alternative to the DTIR, consider the Pulemyot. It will certainly reward your choice.
