Although the Warlock’s build centered around Necrotic Grips is incredibly powerful, I must say that this Titan Strand build is my personal favorite in all of Destiny 2: Lightfall.

The focus of the Titan build is on both survivability and damage. By utilizing Tangles, activating Woven Mail, and utilizing your melee ability, you will be able to effectively defeat enemies. This build is effective against both champions and bosses, as the Sythoceps enhance the damage of both melee and super abilities, along with the buffs from the aspects.

You can utilize this build in any situation throughout the game and will receive the benefits without encountering any disadvantages.

Titan Strand Abilities, Aspects, and Fragments

Class ability: Rally Barricade
Jump: Catapult Lift
Melee: Frenzied Blade
Grenade: Grapple

Aspects

Into the Fray: Enhance your armor with Woven Mail. Increase your melee regeneration. Destroying a Tangle or casting your Super grants Woven Mail for nearby allies.
Banner of War: Defeating a target with a melee ability or upon casting a finisher, you will activate Banner of War. This will create an area of influence around you that will heal you and your allies. You also gain enhanced melee and sword damage while Banner of War is active. The more enemies you defeat, the stronger this aspect becomes, making you immortal.

Thread of Transmutation: You will create a tangle whenever defeat an enemy with a weapon while Woven Mail is active. (Strength +10)

Next, focus on Discipline. Utilize mods such as Bomber and Grenade Kickstart to improve the speed of your Grenade ability recovery. The Grapple is also a useful tool for escaping difficult situations and initiating combat with your opponents. Additionally, investing in Recovery is beneficial as it allows for quicker health regeneration when needed.

Titan Strand Build: Instructions

The crucial aspect of this build is to consistently have Banner of War activated. It is essential to defeat basic enemies periodically, recharge your Banner of War, and then utilize your melee ability and shotgun. The rotation for this strategy is as follows:

Grapple into an enemy (especially one surrounded by many enemies)
You use melee at the end of a swing to activate Banner of War
Defeat as many basic enemies as possible to charge up the Banner of War
Pick up a Tangle and throw it at yourself to gain Woven Mail
Use your Tractor Cannon to Debuff an enemy
Shoot the enemy with your One Two Punch shotgun
Use you melee ability to deal massive damage to the enemy

To maximize your damage output, it is crucial to keep your powered melee ability active at all times. Without enough melee energy, you will miss out on significant damage. To activate the Thread of Fury, make sure to defeat smaller enemies with your Tangle. Remember to throw the Tangle both at your feet and in between enemies to utilize Woven Mail and activate the Fragment.

Building the Titan Solar Pyrogale Gauntlet

Solar Titans are exceptionally strong in the meta

Since its rework, Solar Titan has maintained its strength. Previously, the Loreley Splendor Helmet was overpowered, providing immense survivability. Furthermore, players were able to utilize the Throwing Hammer for damage, making the Solar Titan a formidable one-person force.

Despite the nerf to Loreley and the throwing hammer, something even more powerful has taken its place. The Solar Titan build, equipped with the Pyrogale Gauntlet, is comparable to Hunter’s Celestial Knighthawk.

Essentially, the build operates in the same manner by transforming Burning Maul into a single, powerful slam attack. It is highly effective in a range of scenarios, particularly when facing bosses and challenging content.
