Best Destiny 2 Warden’s Law Loadout for PvE & PvP

Warden’s Law remains one of Destiny 2’s top Hand Cannons due to its incredible compatibility with Lucky Pants. Utilizing a meta god roll further enhances its effectiveness in both PvE and PvP.

The primary focus of Destiny 2 is dealing damage, and Lucky Pants has proven to be one of the top choices for maximizing DPS. By equipping a fully loaded Hand Cannon and continuously firing, this straightforward strategy allows the potent Exotic to unleash hundreds of thousands of damage in just one cycle.

When it comes to finding the perfect weapon to pair with Lucky Pants, nothing beats Warden’s Law. Its Heavy Burst frame is ideal for this purpose, as it enables the Kinetic Hand Cannon to rapidly accumulate damage stacks. This deadly combination resulted in the Nightfall weapon surpassing popular choices like Malfeasance and Crimson during Lightfall, a position it continues to hold to this day.

By combining Lucky Pants and Warden’s Law, players can achieve the highest DPS combo on any primary ammo weapon in Destiny 2. However, in order to reach these impressive numbers, a specific roll of perks is necessary, making it important to know which perks to look for.

Lucky Pants greatly enhances Warden’s Law, making it the ideal choice for a PvE god roll. The key to maximizing its potential is to optimize damage during the 5.5 seconds that Illegally Modded Holster is active. This Hunter Exotic is designed to maximize damage output within a limited time frame.

Despite its reduced potency and decreased popularity on Heavy weapons, Vorpal Weapon remains an obvious choice due to its DPS perk which increases damage against bosses by 20%. This perk greatly enhances the damage output of Primary weapons such as Warden’s Law.

Similarly, Fourth Time’s The Charm eliminates the need to constantly reload while Illegally Modded Holster is active. This optimizes the gun’s damage per second (DPS) by continuously stacking and increasing the amount of damage dealt.

By using this combination of perks, you can easily achieve over 500,000 damage in a single rotation with Lucky Pants, all without needing to rely on Special or Heavy ammunition. Once you have mastered this technique and are able to seamlessly switch between weapons during cooldown periods, you will quickly become a dominant force in boss encounters.

Best Warden’s Law PvP God Roll

  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
  • Perk 1: Enlightened Action
  • Perk 2: Zen Moment

Although Warden’s Law is primarily known for its effectiveness in PvE, it is also a viable choice in PvP. In The Crucible, it functions similarly to a Precision Frame, but with superior range and a significantly more competitive time-to-kill.

Despite its strengths, Warden’s Law does have some drawbacks. Its handling is sluggish and it has a slow reload time. Fortunately, the Enlightened Action perk can help alleviate these issues by improving both stats after dealing damage to an enemy Guardian.

The recoil of Warden’s Law is a significant factor holding it back, despite the use of Arrowhead Brake to reduce it. Although Ricochet Rounds can extend its effective range to 33 meters, accurately hitting every shot at that distance can present a challenge.

To increase the consistency of Warden’s Law, it is recommended to obtain a roll with the perk Zen Moment. This perk grants a stack of reduced recoil, visual shake, and flinch for every hit with the weapon. It works particularly well with Heavy Burst Hand Cannons, as each burst adds multiple stacks and significantly enhances the gun’s performance.

How to Obtain Warden’s Law in Destiny 2

Obtaining Warden’s Law is possible by completing Nightfalls in the Vanguard playlist. Although it is possible to receive it from any difficulty, the chances of obtaining it are significantly higher from Master and Grandmaster completions.

After obtaining at least one Warden’s Law or Warden’s Law (Adept), you can direct it towards Commander Zavala in exchange for x5 Vanguard Engrams and x25,000 Glimmer each.

To discover which weapons are currently dominating Destiny’s sandbox, be sure to take a look at the top PvE and PvP guns. Additionally, it is recommended to experiment with these popular Hunter, Titan, and Warlock builds in order to optimize your loadouts.
