Fuel Conditioners serve two primary purposes in Escape from Tarkov. Firstly, they are crucial for bartering for the Red Rebel and a cost-effective Metal Fuel Tank for your hideout. Secondly, you require four Fuel Conditioners to be “found in raid” for completing the Blood of War Part 2 quest. These items are quite valuable, so here’s where you can easily locate Fuel Conditioners in Escape from Tarkov.
The Best Way to Get Fuel Conditioners in Escape from Tarkov
Assuming you are focused on the Blood of War Part 2 quest, it’s essential to choose a safe method to extract with Fuel Conditioners. The ideal location depends on your familiarity with the maps, but one of the best spots to find Fuel Conditioners is in Streets of Tarkov. Fuel Conditioners are categorized under the technical loot spawn table, and Streets of Tarkov features a significant number of these spawns.
Within Streets of Tarkov, there are several technical supply crates available. The optimal farming location for these Fuel Conditioners is the camp in Streets of Tarkov. This area is highly contested, with Kaban, a boss, spawning in the vicinity. However, if you spawn at Concordia or the taxi area, you can reach this location faster than other PMCs.
Once inside the camp, you’ll find it easier to survive, as there are limited entry points. If a player is already inside, they will face challenges in clearing all the angles needed to enter.
There are two main entrances to the camp: one is near the collapsed crane, and the other is close to Lexos.
As shown in the two images above, both entrances contain a technical crate spawn. Loot both supply crates and search for duffle bags.
After checking the bags, proceed to the garage to inspect the metal shelves. Technical items can spawn on the three metal shelves and the counter near the lifted SUV. Additionally, there’s a second floor in the garage, which may hold more duffle bags and other loot.
This area stands out as the top location for technical spawns in Streets of Tarkov and provides your best chance of finding Fuel Conditioners. Besides technical spawns, the camp also features valuable loot opportunities, including items like Cat Figurines, Bronze Lions, or even Bitcoins. If you have extra time for looting, check out the house with the broken wall within the camp for more valuable finds.
How to Get More Fuel Conditioners in Escape from Tarkov
If you prefer not to traverse Streets of Tarkov, various other maps also host numerous technical loot spawns. Some alternatives might even yield better results, depending on your luck. Here are some options:
Map | Area | Description |
Lighthouse | Water Treatment Plant | Head to the main entrance, loot the first tent, and check the three warehouses for abundant technical loot spawns. |
Customs | Stronghold | Surrounding the Stronghold are several technical supply crates, plus other factories you can loot on your way to extraction. |
Interchange | WAS | OLI features several shelves with technical loot spawns. |
Reserve | Bunker | Reserve has a rich density of technical loot spawns, particularly in the underground bunker, but it is notoriously dangerous. |
Labs | Hangar | The hangar in Labs contains multiple technical loot spawns, with some in the basement as well. However, Labs requires a keycard for entry, and survival is often a major challenge. |
