The top performers in Madden 25 remain consistent, with Christian McCaffrey and Tyreek Hill standing out as leaders in their respective positions.

EA Sports began releasing player ratings for Madden 25 on July 29. Although not all ratings have been revealed, the Madden team has already published top-ten lists for different positions.

The information that has been disclosed so far includes the top running backs and wide receivers.

So far, the top ten best players at each position have been revealed and are listed below, sorted by their respective positions.

Top running backs in Madden 25

Christian McCaffrey, featured as the cover athlete, holds the highest rating among running backs in Madden 25. Additionally, he is considered one of the top players overall in the game, earning a spot in the prestigious 99 Club. McCaffrey’s impressive statistics from last season include leading the league in rushing yards (1,459) and scoring 14 touchdowns.

McCaffrey is among the top 10 players that have recently seen changes in their team. Saquon Barkley left the Giants to join the Eagles, and Josh Jacobs made his way to Green Bay to play alongside Jordan Love and the Packers. In addition, Aaron Jones, who previously played for Green Bay, has transferred to the Vikings.

Undoubtedly the most prominent addition, however, is Derrick Henry teaming up with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Henry will kick off the 2024 season with a 94 OVR rating, just behind fellow powerhouse Nick Chubb, who begins the year with a 96 OVR rating.

Madden fans can always count on Tyreek Hill to be one of the speediest players in the game. This year, in Madden 25, he has once again been awarded a 99 Speed stat by EA Sports. To top it off, Hill has also been recognized as a member of the prestigious 99 Club, alongside Christian McCaffrey.

Hill has been selected to the Pro Bowl eight times and has earned All-Pro honors five times.

The remaining names on the list are the expected ones. Justin Jefferson, who has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and led the league in receiving yards in 2022, holds the second spot with a 98 OVR rating. CeeDee Lamb occupies the third position, followed by A.J. Brown and Amon-Ra St. Brown in fourth and fifth place respectively.

In 2023, St. Brown had a successful season with the Lions, earning two Pro Bowl selections.

Williams has earned 11 Pro Bowl selections and been named an All-Pro three times, while Martin has been named an All-Pro seven times and was also included on the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2010s best team.

Williams and Zack Martin stand out as the top offensive linemen, with Williams starting the year as a member of the prestigious 99 Club and Martin closely following with a 97 OVR. The remaining spots in the top five are filled by Penai Sewell, Lane Johnson, and new addition to the Jets, Tyron Smith.

Antoine Winfield Jr. and Minkah Fitzpatrick, who received his fourth Pro Bowl nomination in 2023, complete the top three.
