On the 14th, Big Hit Music, Jungkook’s agency, clarified that his social media post, which conveyed the message “Artists are not guilty” via his pet’s account, was made with the conviction that “under no circumstances should young artists be drawn into disputes or used as shields.”
During that post, Jungkook also featured heart emojis in blue, pink, yellow, green, and purple, representing the colors associated with NewJeans’ “Powerpuff Girls,” along with a flexed bicep emoji.
Jungkook’s message gained significance as it coincided with NewJeans members expressing their views during a live broadcast about the management dispute between HYBE and former CEO Min Hee-jin, prompting varied interpretations from the audience.
As the post attracted attention, Jungkook subsequently updated it to include, “Don’t use them.”
