During a recent episode of his YouTube series “Zip DS,”DAESUNG from BIGBANG candidly discussed his emotions towards the group’s current lineup, expressing a combination of longing and understanding.
The May 10 release featured DAESUNG’s interactions with actress Lee Yu Bi, actor Lee Joon, and CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin during their gathering. Beforehand, the group went on a grocery shopping trip, which established a laid-back and relatable atmosphere for their conversations.
At their meeting, it was evident that Lee Yu Bi was thrilled to be on DAESUNG’s show as she exclaimed,
“I agreed to join this show because it’s your show, DAESUNG! I mean, you’re BIGBANG!”DAESUNG, however, revealed his nervousness, especially since it was his first encounter with Lee Joon.
Upon reminiscing about BIGBANG’s history, DAESUNG offered a poignant remark.
“Our promotions did overlap a number of times, but we never really got to meet, because I never got out of my waiting room,”he admitted. “In fact, all the members of BIGBANG were always glued to our waiting room.”
DAESUNG commented on the group’s present situation, recognizing the difficulties that come with being a trio.
“Yeah, we are,”he confirmed when asked about their introverted nature. “What adds to the difficulty is that we’re down to just three now.”
In 2006, YG Entertainment formed BIGBANG, which originally included five members: G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, T.O.P, and SEUNGRI.
Despite SEUNGRI’s departure in 2019 following the Burning Sun scandal, BIGBANG underwent significant changes as a group. These changes were further solidified when T.O.P officially announced his departure last year, solidifying the group as a trio.
