In the afternoon of August 31st, Taeyang performed his solo concert titled “TAEYANG 2024 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR] IN SEOUL” at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
After all the performances had concluded at the event, Taeyang expressed his gratitude towards the fans for filling up the seats. He humbly acknowledged the numerous individuals who assisted in preparing for the concert and was at a loss for words as he thanked the fans for their unwavering support.
Taeyang expressed his deep gratitude towards Teddy, the head of The Black Label, stating, “The Black Label truly heard and supported all of my creative desires. I am extremely thankful for that.”This highlights his special connection with Teddy and The Black Label.
The individual specifically mentioned, “Although I couldn’t see it, I recall that the team who worked together with me on the concert hadn’t slept for several weeks. I am grateful to all the staff at The Black Label. I know they faced difficulties in preparing for the performance due to my sensitive nature, and I apologize for causing any inconvenience,”which elicited laughter from the audience.
During his concert, Taeyang performed covers of Dynamic Duo’s “Smoke”and Jeon So-mi’s “Fast Forward.”Jeon So-mi, who was in attendance as a guest, commented, “I was watching from the sidelines and I noticed that he wasn’t as good at ‘Fast Forward’ without me.”To which Taeyang agreed, “That’s true, I can definitely feel the difference when I perform it with the original singer.”
While Taeyang went to change for the next stage, Jeon So-mi kept the atmosphere hot with her performances of “Fast Forward” and her new song “ICE CREAM” . Her energetic energy set her apart from Taeyang and added a different charm to the stage.
Jeon expressed, “I am a proud member of BIGBANG’s fandom, also known as VIP. Being invited as a guest is a great privilege for me as a former VIP. The concert’s energy was amazing and I hope it can inspire me in some way,”and further stated, “I will bring my own unique flair and enjoyment to the concert as if it were my own.”
