Bizarre Detail Shared by Two My Hero Academia Characters Sparks Fan Theories

Now that My Hero Academia has concluded, it has come to the attention of fans that two main characters have not had any interaction with each other, despite both being members of the same group.

Despite being classmates and key characters in My Hero Academia, Shoto Todoroki and Ochako Uraraka never have a conversation with each other. Additionally, they are both part of Deku’s inner circle as his close friends.

Despite being known as a very friendly person, Ochako’s lack of interaction with Shoto has sparked attention from fans. On the other hand, Shoto is an introvert and does not frequently engage in conversations with others. Despite this, their close proximity and important roles have led fans to find their dynamic (or lack thereof) peculiar.

Despite Shoto’s close friendships with Bakugo and Iida, who are also Deku’s closest friends, his relationship with Kirishima is also strong. However, he has never spoken to Ochako and they have never developed a friendship.

Despite the initial confusion, many fans argue that this situation is not unusual and is actually quite logical. They clarify that just because individuals are part of the same friend group does not necessarily mean they have to have a close relationship with each other.

According to a Reddit user, it is common to have certain friends within a group. In this case, Todoroki is friends with Deku and Iida, who are also friends with Uraraka. This explains why they often hang out as a group. However, it is unlikely for Todoroki to specifically seek out Uraraka to spend time with her. He would only do so if the others are present or if she initiates the interaction.

Another user asked, “Do you know all of your friend’s friends?”and a third user commented, “I suppose they aren’t very familiar with each other.”

“A fourth person chimed in, stating that friend groups can be like that at times. They mentioned that there are often two individuals who have been in the same group for a while, but they don’t really interact with each other.”

Despite never having any interactions in the manga, it would be entertaining to see Ochako and Shoto’s dynamic in the anime. Perhaps the anime’s epilogue will feature light-hearted moments of the two characters enjoying each other’s company.

Additionally, further information about the fate of All For One, Shigaraki, Dabi, and Toga can be obtained.
