The tenth episode of Black Butler season 4 picks up where the previous one left off, delving deeper into the flashback and showcasing the bullying behavior of Derrick Arden and his friends towards other students. Despite being the successor to a prestigious marquessate, Derrick shows no signs of regret and assumes that the Prefects will turn a blind eye to his actions.

Enraged by the threat of being reported, Herman Greenhill takes matters into his own hands and eliminates both Derrick and the vice-principal, who was working with Derrick. Meanwhile, the other Prefects apprehend the rest of Derrick’s friends.

Despite this, Ciel Phantomhive remains unswayed and intends to take action.

The Undertaker then proceeds to discuss his studies on resurrecting corpses and his yearning to surpass death, however Sebastian finds the idea of death’s ultimate ending more alluring.
