The Black Butler: Arc Public School anime finally got its release date, along with a new trailer.
Initially, Black Butler is a popular dark fantasy manga, written by Yana Toboso. The story is set in a fantasy London of the Victorian era, and follows Ciel Phantomhive, a young aristocrat who strikes a deal with a demonic butler named Sebastian Michaelis.
A new Black Butler anime was announced during Anime Expo in 2023, along with a key visual and teaser. The 2023 Aniplex Fest was an opportunity to reveal more about the coming season, in particular about the adapted arc: that of the Public School.
We are talking here about the seventh arc of the manga, extending from chapters 67 to 85 in volumes 14 to 18. The official Black Butler website has just announced the release date of the upcoming season with a new trailer presenting the main characters of the arc.

According to the anime’s official website, “broadcasting will begin on TOKYO MX and other channels every Saturday from 11:30 p.m., starting Saturday, April 13, 2024.”
In France, the Public School arc will be available on Crunchyroll.

According to the anime’s official website, the summary is as follows: “Britain, 19th century – Sebastian Michaelis, a butler of the prestigious aristocratic Phantomhive family, is tasked with taking care of the dirty work in the underworld in as the “Queen’s Watchdog” with her 13-year-old master, Ciel Phantomhive.”
“One day, Ciel receives a letter from the Queen mentioning that Derrick, a distant relative who attends Weston School, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in England, as well as several other students, is no longer heard from. Sebastian and Ciel infiltrate Weston’s school to investigate the incident. What truth does this incident conceal…?”
