Black Myth: Wukong True Ending Explained
The conclusion of the Black Myth: Wukong also revolves around a similar concept. In this instance, The Chosen One emerges victorious over Sun Wukong and the latter retrieves his headband to bestow it upon The Chosen One’s head, accompanied by a visually stunning animated sequence.
During this cutscene, Erlang taunts Sun Wukong by reminding him that although he has achieved Buddhahood, he will forever be a servant to the gods because of his headband. In response, Sun Wukong enthusiastically declares that he will “tear it off and liberate himself!”
The cutscene concludes with Sun Wukong offering a final toast before storming the celestial palace, resulting in his eventual imprisonment by the gods and setting the stage for the prologue of the game.
