Black Ops 6 and Warzone Global Weapon Builds: An Explanation of the Feature

The Season 1 update has allowed for Warzone to seamlessly incorporate Black Ops 6, including its arsenal of weapons, Operators, and omnimovement system, into the battle royale. Additionally, the new Global Weapon Build feature has been introduced.

This innovative feature allows your weapon builds to be shared across all game modes, simplifying the process of managing your loadouts. Here’s how Global Weapon Builds function in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Global Weapon Builds in BO6 & Warzone

With Global Weapon Builds, you can utilize the same loadout in all three modes of Black Ops 6: multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. After constructing your weapon, it will be available for use regardless of the mode you are playing.

In addition, Wildcards will also be allowed in the battle royale. This means that if you utilize Gunfighter to equip your weapon with eight attachments, those attachments will carry over into the battle.

The new feature will be available in the game upon its initial release, included in both multiplayer and Zombies modes. However, it will not be implemented in Warzone until the Season 1 update, which will also introduce Black Ops 6 weapons. Please note that this feature will not be compatible with MW2 and MW3 weapons, as they will remain independent entities.

The concept is to minimize the amount of time spent navigating menus in order to maintain all loadouts. Nonetheless, the extent to which players will utilize this system is yet to be determined.

In multiplayer, it is not necessary to have 60-round mags or 3x optics, but in Warzone and Zombies, these attachments are crucial due to the larger maps and longer time-to-kill.

Despite being able to utilize the same loadout, some players may still choose to keep their loadouts separate in each mode. Only time will tell what the dominant strategy will be.

In addition to BO6’s content, the battle royale mode is expected to revert back to its pre-Warzone 2.0 simplicity, removing the backpack system and limiting players to three Perks in their loadout.
