Black Ops 6 Critical Error Causing Match Losses for Winning Players

Free-for-All (FFA) has long been a fan-favorite mode for quick matches and warming up in the Call of Duty franchise. However, an unresolved glitch is currently diminishing the overall gaming experience.

Since its debut in the original Call of Duty in 2003, FFA has remained a staple multiplayer option. Players engage in a fierce competition where the first to secure 30 kills claims victory. Despite various iterations over the years, the basic formula has remained largely unchanged, proving its effectiveness and popularity.

As the franchise has evolved, introducing fresh and often zany limited-time game modes, FFA seems to have taken a backseat to these newer offerings. Nevertheless, a dedicated community of players continues to advocate for the classic mode, feeling slighted that a critical glitch has gone unaddressed for over a month.

Is Free-for-All Broken in Black Ops 6?

The issue came to light when a Black Ops 6 player posted a video clip on November 28. Despite being the first to reach 30 eliminations and topping the leaderboard, the player was awarded a defeat and did not place in the top three.

On December 16, notable CoD YouTuber notblametruth echoed these concerns, revealing that the glitch has persisted since the game’s launch. This was further illustrated by sharing a screenshot of the problematic scoreboard.

As of now, Treyarch has not provided any updates regarding the glitch, leading to growing frustration among players who feel their concerns have not been adequately addressed. Many have taken to sharing screenshots and voicing their dissatisfaction with the lack of communication from the developers.

With the holiday season underway, both Treyarch and Raven Software have paused their work until the new year, leaving players to wonder when, or if, this glitch will be resolved. Given its duration, there are no guarantees on when a fix may arrive, contributing to an unsettling atmosphere within the community.
