Black Ops 6: Discover the Most Underrated Gun with Incredible TTK After Headshot Update

Treyarch recently enhanced several assault rifles in Black Ops 6, notably boosting their headshot damage. Among the updates, an underappreciated weapon has emerged with an incredible time-to-kill (TTK) capability that players won’t want to overlook.

In the update on December 10, the Goblin Mk2 received a significant damage increase, with its base headshot damage now set at 50 per shot. This enhancement restores its former ability from earlier seasons, allowing it to eliminate opponents with just two headshots, yielding an astonishing TTK of only 130 milliseconds.

To enhance this further, players will find that the CHF Barrel has also been upgraded, now delivering a headshot damage boost of up to 60 per shot. As a result, the Goblin Mk2 can achieve a kill with merely one headshot and one body shot within its maximum damage radius.

Within a range of 17 meters, the Goblin Mk2 will dispatch enemies 50% faster than the top submachine guns (SMGs), while maintaining competitive effectiveness at longer distances. This extraordinary potential positions the Goblin Mk2 as a formidable choice among assault rifles, especially when equipped with the optimal loadout detailed below.

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: CHF Barrel

Incorporating the CHF Barrel is crucial for harnessing the immense headshot damage potential of the Goblin Mk2, making it a truly formidable weapon in combat. However, it’s important to note that this attachment introduces substantial recoil. To mitigate this drawback, utilizing both the Compensator and Recoil Springs is highly advisable for improved accuracy.

Accuracy is essential, as the Goblin Mk2 operates as a precision semi-automatic firearm. Standard iron sights may prove insufficient; hence, equipping a reliable optic like the Kepler Microflex is recommended. This optic simplifies the process of lining up headshots, maximizing the effectiveness of the weapon’s impressive TTK.

For the last attachment slot, players can choose between the Ergonomic Grip and the Vertical Foregrip. The Ergonomic Grip is typically the superior option, transforming the Goblin Mk2 into a highly mobile, quick-handling weapon. This agility is particularly advantageous in the fast-paced environment of Black Ops 6. Alternatively, the Vertical Foregrip is a suitable option for players prioritizing accuracy over speed.

In addition to its multiplayer triumphs, the Goblin Mk2 also excels in Warzone, provided players can adapt to using a semi-automatic weapon effectively in the battle royale setting.
