Black Ops 6: Fans Concerned About New Field Upgrade

Black Ops 6 multiplayer has caused concern among Call of Duty fans due to the addition of a new Field Upgrade.

Throughout its existence, Call of Duty has introduced numerous pieces of equipment and Field Upgrades that have caused frustration among players. The decoy enemy in Modern Warfare (2019) will always be remembered by those who enjoy causing mischief in the game.

After experiencing COD Next, we have gained insight into what to expect from Black Ops 6. As expected, the RC-XD will make a comeback in this Black Ops installment. Additionally, players will have the ability to control a throwing knife.

Despite its potential for strategic gameplay, the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade has caused some concern among players. For those who may have missed its demonstration at the reveal, this upgrade enables players to temporarily appear as friendly members of the opposing team. It should be noted, however, that eliminating enemy players will prolong this effect.

After ModernWarzone demonstrated the Field Upgrade working against him, one player commented, “This seems like it could be terrible lol.”Another player added, “I can already tell this is going to be the most annoying perk in the game.”

“One player exclaimed, “This is the cheesiest cheese ever, wow!”Another expressed frustration, saying, “It’ll ruin nuke streaks and be so annoying.”However, another player accepted the new reality, stating, “This has become the norm, so we just have to expect the nonsense at this point.”

There is a perk available in the game that can assist players in countering the Sleeper Agent Field Upgrade, but it also gives away your position when you fire your gun and behave like an enemy.

The Field Upgrade will only become accessible in the Black Ops 6 beta once players reach Level 23. Thus, players will need to put in some effort in order to try it out.

If the game does become too overwhelming, it is probable that Treyarch will nerf it. We will have to wait and see for any updates on that matter.
