Black Ops 6 players discover secret use for hidden door on Skyline

The panic room in Skyline has proven to be a strategic flank route in the Black Ops 6 beta, but players have also found that the entrance door can be utilized as a weapon.

The initial beta weekend for Black Ops 6 featured four maps out of a total of 16, and many players were quick to criticize them as “terrible”overall. The main issues cited were low visibility, unfair head glitch locations, and unimpressive designs.

Despite this, Skyline was met with overall positive reception. The 6v6 map is set on the rooftop of a luxurious countryside resort.

Located beneath the rooftop villa is a panic room that spans the entire length of the map. One of the ways to access this underground area is through a concealed bookshelf door that slides open.

The CoD YouTuber CouRage played a cruel joke on TimTheTatman by guiding him to the bookshelf door and using it to eliminate him.

Simply pressing the interact button in front of the bookshelf allows players to utilize this feature. If there happens to be an enemy or teammate in the doorway, they will be eliminated by the door.

On PlayStation, the interact button is typically designated as Square, while on Xbox it is usually marked as X. However, the specific button for interacting may vary depending on the chosen control scheme.

Upon seeing the clip, Treyarch associate director Matt Scronce slyly commented that the player only had themselves to blame for the glitch, despite many players initially assuming it was a technical error.

In regular public matches, friendly fire is disabled, making this the only method for intentionally tricking your friends.

As players continue to familiarize themselves with each Black Ops 6 map, it is likely that additional Easter eggs will be discovered just like this one.
