Modern Warfare 3 introduced a weapon feature that divided the playerbase’s opinions, but it seems that Black Ops 6 has secretly eliminated it from the Call of Duty series entirely, as Tactical Stance is no longer present.
The use of Tactical Stance enabled players to effectively fire their weapons from the hip, particularly when sliding or running during combat. This provided a balance between hip-firing and using aim-down sights (ADS).
By observing the slanted position and tighter crosshair of your gun, you could determine if your weapons were in the Tactical Stance. Although the upcoming Call of Duty installment will not have Tactical Stance upon release, it can be mimicked by equipping a specific attachment.
For all the Tactical Stance enthusiasts out there who are concerned about its inclusion in Black Ops 6, we have a surprise in store for you in the next section.
Tactical Laser lets you enter Tactical Stance in Black Ops 6.
Tips for Utilizing Tactical Stance in Black Ops 6
To use Tactical Stance, you must have the Tactical Laser attachment equipped. This attachment is similar to the Canted Laser from Modern Warfare 3, but it also offers the additional advantages of Tac Stance.
The Tactical Laser attachment is particularly useful for close-range combat situations, as aiming down sights can be difficult in these scenarios. In smaller maps, utilizing Tactical Stance will improve your chances in duels and assist in completing challenges.
Nevertheless, this attachment can also be harmful as it provides enemies a way to easily track your whereabouts with its noticeable laser. It is important to remain cautious and avoid revealing your location whenever possible.
Switching to the Tactical Laser is a simple process. Once the attachment is attached, you can easily enter Tac Stance by pressing the B button on your keyboard (or B on Xbox/Circle on PS5 controllers). If you wish to switch back, simply press the same button again.
