<p>The festive atmosphere in Call of Duty continues with the highly anticipated CODMAS event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, featuring the new in-game celebration, Archie’s Festival Frenzy.

Season 1 Reloaded has already delighted players with a series of holiday-themed events, including Merry Mayhem and GobbleGum Mania in Black Ops 6 Zombies. The holiday season is evidently far from over, as we gear up for yet another exciting CODMAS event.

Mark your calendars! The Archie’s Festival Frenzy kicks off on Thursday, December 19, 2024, coinciding with the conclusion of Merry Mayhem. The event will span a period of just over two weeks, wrapping up on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Throughout the duration of Archie’s Festival Frenzy, players will accumulate collectible Jolly Archies by achieving kills or opening supply boxes in Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. Collecting a significant number of these Jolly Archies enhances your chances of unlocking exclusive rewards.

To engage in this festive excitement, head to the Events tab within the main menu. Here, you can exchange your Jolly Archies for a chance to unwrap one of twelve presents, each containing a unique holiday-themed item. Prices for unwrapping gifts will vary: some require as few as 10 Archies, while others demand up to 50. The contents of each box will be a delightful surprise.

As of now, only two rewards have been officially unveiled: the exciting 3-Round Burst Mod Conversion and the AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle.

The burst attachment for the Kompakt 92 transforms it into a rapid-firing SMG, obtainable by gathering 50 Jolly Archies. Conversely, the new sniper rifle will be awarded once players successfully open every gift.

Teaser images posted in the Season 1 Reloaded blog hint at other potential rewards, although their exact designs remain a mystery.

Engaging Limited-Time Modes

In conjunction with the main event, Archie’s Festival Frenzy will also introduce three exclusive limited-time modes (LTMs) that provide excellent opportunities to rack up event-specific rewards.

Infectious Holiday (Multiplayer)

This mode offers a festive twist on the classic Infected gameplay, where defeated players rise as zombies adorned in holiday-themed hats and outfits.

Jingle Hells: Liberty Falls (Zombies)

In this Zombies mode, the holiday spirit shines in Liberty Falls, complete with seasonal decorations and festive sounds. Players will engage in a new main quest, unwrap gifts, and enjoy a plethora of extra GobbleGums and Power-Ups.

Slay Ride Resurgence (Warzone)

Returning to Warzone, Slay Ride Resurgence invites players to battle against Santa and his minions in a nostalgic LTM first seen during the MW3 era, as they vie for domination of an armored train in Urzikstan.

Overall, Archie’s Festival Frenzy promises ample entertainment and rewards across both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. This event will not be the last of the season, as players can anticipate an upcoming Squid Game crossover event before the arrival of Season 2.
