This upcoming update not only introduces new weapons, such as the AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle, but also brings a winter-themed version of the classic Nuketown map. Furthermore, Zombies fans will be thrilled with the launch of the new Citadelle des Morts map, alongside the GobbleGum Mania event.

The GobbleGum Mania event kicks off on Thursday, December 5, 2024. This date coincides with the live release of the Season 1 Reloaded update and will run for two weeks, concluding on Thursday, December 19. These details have been officially confirmed in the pre-launch blog by Activision.

How the GobbleGum Mania Event Works

The GobbleGum Mania event invites players to engage with a community-wide challenge that focuses on consuming a designated number of GobbleGums in Zombies matches. Similar to the Hit List event, GobbleGum Mania features both personal and global objectives that participants aim to accomplish within the two-week timeframe.

Each player’s personal progress is tracked based on the GobbleGums consumed during gameplay. Achieving specific milestones unlocks a series of enticing rewards. Additionally, there’s a global goal that tallies the total GobbleGums consumed by all players throughout the event, awarding the community with special rewards each time a new milestone is achieved.
