BLACKPINK Jennie Spotted Traveling to New York
On May 2, 2024, BLACKPINK’s Jennie was spotted departing for New York from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon for an overseas event. As anticipated, journalists were present at the airport to capture photos of the adored star.

In the photos, Jennie’s cheeks appear to be slightly fuller. Her face gives off a bloated appearance, and when she tilts her head back, she also has a slight double chin. This is possibly the reason for the netizen’s observation about the idol’s altered appearance.
Despite some agreeing with OP, there were also many who came to Jennie’s defense. While acknowledging that the photos were unflattering, they pointed out that in videos taken on the same day, Jennie appeared the same as she usually does. It’s probable that the unflattering angle and bright flashing lights in the journalist photos were the cause of her appearance.
