Lisa, a member of BLACKPINK, has once again broken a Guinness World Record, as confirmed.
In June 2024, Lisa surprised her fans by unveiling her official TikTok account! The idol used the platform to give fans a sneak peek of her upcoming single, “ROCKSTAR,”which is scheduled to drop on June 27. This will be Lisa’s first comeback as a solo artist and her first release since parting ways with YG Entertainment.
In her initial TikTok post, Lisa revealed a clip of the instrumental. In her subsequent TikTok video, she shared a teaser that featured the lyrics, “Baby, I’m a rockstar,”generating excitement from both BLINKs and the general audience.
As soon as her TikTok account was up and running, hoards of fans flocked to follow the female idol. In a remarkable feat, Lisa amassed a million followers within a mere two hours and 18 minutes.

In 2021, her music video for “LALISA”achieved a record-breaking 73.6 million views within 24 hours, making it the most-viewed music video by a solo artist at the time. The previous record holder was Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie for their song “ME!”.
In 2022, Lisa made history as the first K-pop artist to win at both the MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards. The following year, her hit single “MONEY”reached one billion streams on Spotify, making her the first solo K-pop artist to achieve this milestone. Her debut album also broke records, becoming the first K-pop solo album to reach one billion streams on the platform.
