On August 8, 2024, a fansite dedicated to BLACKPINK’s Jennie attended the girl group’s 8th anniversary special fansign event. During the event, Jennie noticed that one of her fans had a tattoo of the phrase “Bitch naneun solo”(a lyric from her solo single “SOLO”) on their finger.
Upon seeing this, Jennie recalled the fan who had shown her this tattoo before and still thought it was incredibly cool.
Despite it being 6 years since the last time this fan showed Jennie the tattoo at her solo fansign event in 2018, Jennie still remembered and recognized it.
Jennie showed concern for the fan’s well-being and the expenses they had incurred by asking if they were tired from traveling so frequently to see her during BLACKPINK’s tour.
When the fansign attendee had to depart early to catch a flight, Jennie took notice and bid farewell with a wave.
Jennie’s exceptional memory is a testament to her deep appreciation and love for her fans. She continues to treasure the gifts given to her by fans from 2017-2018, and has even set aside a special room specifically for storing them.
