Recently, popular male rapper Zico released a behind-the-scenes video of his recording session with BLACKPINK’s Jennie for their collaboration track “SPOT!”. During their time in the studio, Zico gave Jennie a preview of the song and provided guidance on her performance. Despite finishing her recording quickly, Jennie didn’t seem completely satisfied and worked with Zico to make adjustments and perfect the track. Afterwards, the two artists took photos together, showcasing their close relationship.
During a live stream, Zico also took the opportunity to praise Jennie, complimenting her for her professionalism and assistance during the recording process. In a playful manner, Jennie jokingly reminded him not to spoil the song for more than a second. Thanks to her contributions, the song turned out to be perfect.
Before this, Zico surprised fans by sharing a video of him and Jennie practicing together in the studio. The video gave a sneak peek of Jennie’s part in the upcoming collaboration, titled “SPOT!,”which caused a frenzy on social media. The highly anticipated song is set to be released on April 26.
During a recent interview with Vogue Korea, Jennie revealed that she is currently focused on creating new music. She stated, “I dedicate most of my time to working on music and don’t even realize how quickly time passes. My goal is to share my music with a larger audience and to push myself even further, so please anticipate it.”
