During a post-Met Gala interview with Vogue, Jennie revealed, “We had multiple fittings and meetings to discuss different aspects, such as the color and fabric choices. It took 13 meters of fabric to create the dress.”She also shared, “I feel more at ease this year, but I still find everything overwhelming. I was incredibly nervous last year, but I believe I can improve this time around.”

At the 2024 Met Gala, the chosen theme was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” , accompanied by the official dress code of “The Garden of Time” .
