BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s Catwalk for Jacquemus is Hardcore: Here’s Why

On June 10, BLACKPINK’s Jennie made her official debut as a runway model by closing a Jacquemus fashion show, causing a worldwide social media craze.

Although Jennie’s debut received a mixed response, it is still impressive that she achieved such a feat on her own. Moreover, her catwalk was exceptionally tough for two reasons.

Initially, Jennie donned a pair of pink and zebra-patterned “Les doubles Sandales”heels. These heels were uniquely designed with an exceptionally high heel and a peculiar, double-heeled structure, making them quite challenging to wear.

The Jacquemus fashion show, which was closed by Jennie, took place in a very difficult location – a steep staircase leading up the Capri mountains.

The flight of stairs had a triangular shape that narrowed as it descended, lacking any bars or handles which made it challenging for Jennie to walk down.

From the footage of the Jacquemus show, it’s evident that Jennie’s trip appeared to be risky.

Despite being a first-time runway model, Jennie managed to successfully complete a “hardcore”course, further adding to her impressive accomplishments.
