Blackpink’s Rosé Overwhelmed After 10 Days of Non-Stop Album Recording

K-pop sensation Rosé, a member of Blackpink, is making waves worldwide with her latest track “APT.”, a collaboration with the legendary 15-time Grammy winner Bruno Mars.

The song “APT.” has soared to the top of both the global Spotify and iTunes charts, sitting at number one in the United States on Spotify as well. In South Korea, it has taken the lead on all prominent music platforms.

This track acts as the lead single for Rosé’s eagerly awaited debut full-length album, titled Rosie, which is set to drop on December 6 and will feature a total of 12 songs.

The artist disclosed that she traveled to Los Angeles with plans to spend 14 days recording her new songs. However, she found herself fatigued by the 10th day, prompting her to cancel the weekend sessions for some much-needed rest.

Expressing her passion for her craft, Rosé described the experience of making the album as “addicting,”highlighting her strong connection to the creative process.

Additionally, during her discussions with executives at Atlantis Records, Rosé took charge with a “boss” mentality, often asking, “So, what do you have for me?” She underscored the importance of this album to her, insisting that every detail be flawless.

Additionally, Rosé remains a trailblazer as the first K-pop female solo artist to achieve the number one spot on the global Spotify chart and the first K-pop female performer to rank first on the Spotify US chart. “APT.”also boasts the highest one-day streaming record for a song by an Asian female artist.
