BLACKPINK’s Rosé Reveals Group’s Future Plans: “We’ll Focus on Solo Projects for a Year Before Reuniting”

In a recent discussion, Rosé from BLACKPINK elaborated on the group’s current trajectory and their collective choice to take a year-long hiatus to focus on personal ventures prior to reuniting. After a decade of working closely together, Rosé recognized the associated challenges but highlighted that this was an opportune moment for each member to explore their individual journeys.

When prompted about the significance of this period for solo projects, Rosé stated, “Having just completed a year-long global tour with BLACKPINK, we’ve been on a continuous grind. We’ve supported each other throughout, and with the release of new music, it feels like the perfect time to find fresh inspiration. We’re not just performers; we are also creators, and this break will enable us to concentrate on personal growth.”

Rosé further revealed that all four BLACKPINK members share this mutual understanding. “All of us agreed to dedicate an entire year to pursue our individual aspirations. Then, we will reconvene, stronger than ever. What’s truly heartwarming is our unanimous agreement on this decision.”

Her honest remarks underscore the strength of the bond within BLACKPINK, as the members remain united despite their individual pursuits. She expressed, “I feel incredibly lucky. I believe a lot of it has to do with timing, and I’m thankful we’ve matured enough to comprehend what we genuinely desire right now. This realization brings me great joy.”
