Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 Release Date Confirmed for October 2024 Featuring Yhwach vs. Ichibei Teaser

Bleach TYBW part 3, titled The Conflict, is scheduled to premiere on October 5, 2024. This announcement was made during the Krew BeInside live program on Shonen Jump’s official YouTube channel, where the staff shared an exciting teaser of the battle between Yhwach and Ichibei.

On July 7, 2024, the anime staff also revealed the official trailer for Bleach TYBW part 3 at Anime Expo 2024. While the Krew BeInside show did not present an additional promotional video, it did tease the high-quality animation that fans can expect from this third installment.

This upcoming part continues the story from the previous installment, which consisted of 13 episodes airing from July 2023 to September 2023. The series is adapted from the Bleach manga’s Thousand-Year Blood War arc, focusing on the Quincy invasion of Soul Society.

Bleach TYBW part 3: New Yhwach vs. Ichibei Teaser Confirms Release Date

On September 8, 2024, the official YouTube channel for Shonen Jump hosted the Krew BeInside program to share updates about Bleach TYBW part 3 and the Bleach: Rebirth of Souls video game.

Prominent figures such as Masakazu Morita (voice of Ichigo Kurosaki), Ryotaro Okiyaku (voice of Byakuya Kuchiki), Fumiko Orisaka (voice of Rukia Kuchiki), Tite Kubo (author), and producer Yoshihiro Tominaga participated in the event.

At the conclusion of the live stream, host Chiaki Matsuzawa revealed that Bleach TYBW part 3 will air new episodes every Saturday on TV Tokyo and its affiliated channels starting at 11 pm JST, beginning October 5, 2024. Additionally, the show will stream on platforms like Lemino, DMM TV, Disney+, d Anime Store, Hulu, and others at 12 am JST from October 6, 2024.

The teaser highlighted Ichibe Hyosube’s Futen Taisatsuryo (Magnificent Death Mausoleum), which he uses in his confrontation with Yhwach during Bleach TYBW part 3’s opening sequence.

This clip showcases the innovative production from Studio Pierrot’s new subsidiary, Pierrot Film, as dynamic camera angles enhance the scene’s visualization. It also teases Yhwach’s continued relevance in the storyline, following the previous part where the Manako Osho almost defeated the Quincy King.

During the event, Yoshihiro Tominaga and Tite Kubo discussed Ichibei’s Bankai and how the production team has faithfully represented Kubo’s vision for the anime adaptation. The event also revealed Tite Kubo’s rough storyboards showcasing Ichibei’s Futen Taisatsuryo.

Since the first cour, the author has actively collaborated with the anime’s production team. This sequel will include more original content, all supervised by Tite Kubo.

Cast and Staff for Bleach TYBW Part 3

Masakazu Morita replies his role as Ichigo Kurosaki, joined by Yuki Matsuoka as Orihime Inoue, Yasumoto Hiroki as Chad, Fumiko Orikasa as Rukia Kuchiki, Kentaro Ito as Renji, Takayuki Sugo as Yhwach, Noriaki Sugiyama as Uryu, Ryotaro Okiyaku as Byakuya Kuchiki, and more.

Murata Hikaru takes over as the series director at Pierrot Films, with Tomohisa Taguchi now serving as the general director/manager. Taguchi is credited as the series composer alongside Masaki Hiramatsu. Masashi Kudo designs the characters, and Shiro Sagisu returns as the music composer.
